i've been listening to this version since i got a bootleg of this show almost 20 years ago. this is the first ime i got to watch the show being played. seeing it performed makes the song 10x more powerful. the last lyric always makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. @ApostastyUK Had Abbruzzese been playing he'd have brought his entire kit, probably with all 12,000 cymbals that he uses. Just like he did at Unplugged. The band didn't want too much focus on the percussion for this gig and decided to keep things as low-key as possible regarding who was playing it. You have to keep in mind they were still dealing with the fallout from sacking Abbruzzese. Notice how they waited 'til 3 months after this to even announce Irons as a permanent member.

My first Pearl Jam concert! Both days! As fucked as my life has been, moments like these are what makes it all bearable. I could cry when I go back and think how thankful I was to be there. I love this band more than I've loved anything!
