Lyrics:

You want a piece of my mind, there is no peace to find

This is all of your doubt repaid in kind

I am alone in crowded rooms

I am a ghost in forgotten tombs

Widow maker, you're no company to keep

'Cause you can fool some people, sometimes

But you can't fool the world for the rest of your life

You can fool some people, sometimes

But you can't fool the world

Nobody notices, nobody cares

The curtain falls to no one, no where

Nobody notices, nobody cares

As the curtain falls

Soulless, spineless

Cut from the beggar's cloth

You fill your skull with their shit 'til it runs from your mouth

Heartless, carcass

I've seen more life in dead men's eyes

I've heard more truths alone with the night

And I'd rather believe in nothing than believe in a fucking lie

I'd sooner fail one thousand times than regret I never tried

'Cause you can fool some people, sometimes

But you can't fool the world for the rest of your life

You can fool some people, sometimes

But you can't fool the world

You can't fool us all

You howl at the world, but speak a dead language

You're selling your soul, but no one is buying

You pray to your gods of fashion and industry

Heads in the clouds, but you live on your fucking knees

Nobody notices, nobody cares

The curtain falls to no one, no where

Nobody notices, nobody cares

As the curtain fucking falls

Soulless, spineless

Cut from the beggar's cloth

You fill your head with their shit 'til it runs from your mouth

Heartless, carcass

I've seen more life in dead men's eyes

I've heard more truths alone with the night

No peace to find

expressing themselves, but some of the bands I see and hear these days—I can't believe people buy into it. There is so much shit out there that is done with no heart, no soul and no mind, just for 15 minutes of fame and a quick buck. It just annoys me. Yeah, I get butt hurt about stuff".

"We wrote this in the studio. Somehow Jeff pulled these riffs out of the tool shed he was forced to write in and I love it. We wanted something that thrashed from start to finish. The lyrics are pretty pissed. We've been doing this band for 10 years now so here comes an old guy’s rant. Music used to count for something more than clothes, looks, empty threats, tough-guy posturing and pointless hollow intent. I accept that everyone likes different types of music and has their own ways of

I've read track by track somewhere and he said it's basicaly about what happened to music. That lots of bands aren't "real" anymore and don't care about their fans and their music has no message. That it's just empty words, without heart or soul, because some bands only care for the money, looks and so on.

tbh i hope its like that i just said that comment cos i was thought they had suddenly turned into one of those mainstream aiethiest bands but i honestly love parkway drive and think their still sick people can have their opinion about the meanings of the songs in this new album but please stop giving me all these hate comments.

its more political. Winston talks about the age of apathy often.

I know hardly anyone's going to take me on here. But here goes... We're a 5 piece metal band from Manchester, England and we are heavily influenced by Parkway and we dream one day to share the same stage with them. We've been together a while now and have just released our first ever music video, along with an incredible E.P that we're so proud of. Would mean the world if you could check us out and leave some feedback to hopefully make our dreams come true!

I' rather believe in nothing, than believe in a fucking lie and holy water and snake oil basically means holy water doesnt work and refers to religion dont try and change the fact

I feel Ben Gordon is often overlooked. Seriously, the guy is fucking destroying on drums.
