This is My Nans song. Her husband (my Grandad) was named Billy. I never met him he passed away befor i was born of cancer. My Nan use to sing along to this because she missed him. When she died 6 years ago we played it at her funeral. I miss my Nan <3

@thart070 Also a young man may son grew up with since they were babies was killed in Iraq. I went to school with his mom and our kids were close. It took a piece of my heart when he died. I didn't then and I don't now understand it. He was going to be home in only 3 weeks when he was killed. He was just 22. I do understand you. I really do. I meant no offense. Again Peace.. Karen

@thart070 WOW! Are you a soldier? Just curious. I truly admire your patriotism. I support our troops. I also make a point to tell the Soldiers I meet Thank You. In fact I did that the other day. I was young when this came out (I am 46 now). It is tragic. I never could nor can I now understand why they were treated so badly. It was and is NOT RIGHT in any way shape or form. It is and always will be tragic how they treated them. Next time I will pay more attention before I comment.Peace. Karen
