@enjoyyourroots I talked to him at one of his shows and he said he got the idea to call the album tomboy because he feels like a tomboy is something that is in conflict with it's nature, and he feels like his sound is like that, like it's struggling to be pop music but maintain it's experimental vibe. I think he's struck a perfect balance. :) He is seriously one of the nicest, most kind people I've ever met. Him and also Eye Yamantaka from the band Boredoms. Pure souls making pure music.
