Dark Energy mk1 crash bottom / traditional's thin crash top. I never go over 14" though. 13's are my mains 99% of the time.

I don't think that's an acutal 17" hi hat but rather two 17" crash put together to form a "hi hat"

Sounds great!! I have 1 pair of Sabian Vault 16" marching pair... and a pair of Zildjians 16" Constantinople marching pair, and they all sound to dark and diffuse in the `chip´ Don´t know what to do..

19" hi-hats? You're insane! people like you should be locked up!.....But if you want 18" hats, that's fine

Years ago I was looking for a particular "big fat" hat sound for a session and I combined a 17" 2002 crash with an old 70's 17" Zildjian crash and it worked perfectly! I wouldn't use that for everything but it worked for that particular thing. These sound pretty much the same.

I love the sound of his snare. It's sounds like porn, if you know what I mean.
