So while England remains satisfied with subpar music I guess its up to Canada to remind Our Lady Peace what made them big enough to goto the UK in the first place.

A hipster. Yes. But perhaps that is what enables me to actually understand what has happened to OLP's music? What used to be about literature transformed into the loss of a great guitarist and the introduction of a new one. I can't be the only one who noticed that, after Mike left and Raine moved to California that OLP's lyrics which were once so cryptic became about love. Curve is supposed to be about a boxer from Canada but holds no story like most of the albums before.

I've been an OLP fan since 1998, i think i 'deserve' my opinion ;-). Personally, i think the new sound is great. Bands have to evolve otherwise they become stale. OLP have developed their sound to produce unique albums that each have a different atmosphere and tone to them. Sure, some are better than others, but they are all top-notch. To be honest, you sound like a spoilt hipster, complaining about 'her local band' getting too big. Oh, speaking of Muse, i saw them live just the other day...

How about the English have MUSE and TORONTO can have Our Lady Peace back. Maybe the English dont understand how drastically OLP has changed? We want Raine back in Canada not California. We want less detroit sound and more Canadian Alternative rock. If you think this is the same quality that Clumsy is then I'm not sure you deserve an opinion.

It was their first UK gig in over ten years. Get a grip fella, you could've seen them anytime you wanted to over the past decade, not to mention the OLP Live DVD and CD which were recorded IN CANADA, as well as all the CANADIAN TV spots they've did and the other CANADIAN concert footage they've released. Let us English have our moment. A fucking beautiful moment at that.
