I know a girl, got a long snake moan

Got a fever in her head and a restless soul

I got a feeling that the church don't know

What the church don't know, the church don't mind

We all work on borrowed time

Girl you run, as fast as you can

Don't give up, we'll always be friends

Run as fast as you, run as fast as you can

I know a girl, got a long snake moan

Got the voodoo in her hips and a god shaped hole

I got a feeling that the kids don't know

What the kids don't know, the kids don't mind

Girl you run, as fast as you can

Don't give up, we'll always be friends

Run as fast as you, run as fast as you can

Every dog will have its day

Every dog will have its day

Girl you run as fast as you can

Don't give up, we'll always be friends

Run as fast as you, run as fast as you can

This video reminds me of a bad acid trip I had once. I thought I lived with a bunch of broke people and when the acid wore off, I realized it I did live with broke people. Dammit!

I actually design this video. I was the art director on it. It was one of my favorite one.

yeah - I took it wrong at first :s I can be slow :) Agreed - but usually everything is open for interpretation - my fave song on this album for sure though.

Haha I like the way you wrote the last comment and got rid of it to write this one. I guess you realised I wasn't having a dig at you, I was just curious to know your interpretations of the song and video. What you said makes sense but wouldn't you agree that the video concept only covers a small portion of what the song is about? (I realise that may have been done intentionally, not every video can or should overlap the song meaning completely, that'd be lame.)

Think of the norm. Your life has a series of redundant patterns. You wake, you eat, you watch tv - you just EXIST. Nothing gets done despite your nagging voice that reminds you "we all work on borrowed time". Think about it, it is escaping yourself, shaking off the dust and living your life. Its not clear? :)

Then spread the word, my Italian friend! EVERYONE needs to have a little OLP in their life! My favorite disc by them is Spiritual Machines. But they're ALL excellent. I don't have Burn Burn yet...but I'm sure I'll pick it up soon.
