They were together for what, a few years? They did one tour? You either have bad taste or a lot of ignorance to write off op ivy as "just a bunch of Berkeley punks that sucked live". The biting social commentaries and songs tackling self actualization? This is a band kids could, can, and will flock to because they can relate. Why is Op Ivy so popular nowadays? They were not nearly as popular together as broken up, well at least out of the bay area, AND they kinda sucked live. I guess you should have been there. Just a bunch of Berkeley punks learning how to play. Christ On Parade, now they were a Berkeley band that could hit it.
