I find it ironic that a band that has achieved much more musical perfection than most is considered "experimental." I mean, that term implies something at least a bit haphazard. SGM on the other hand, created finely crafted tunes which kicked art rock into the next galaxy, at warp speed.

Anyone who thinks this is boring should also know this song is a lead in to both an album and a track called "The Donkey-Headed Adversary of Humanity". Give that one a listen. I've always considered them to be linked together as one big piece of awesomesauce.

All due respect to Slayer, Iron Maiden, Sabbath, the Stones, Robert Johnson, and anyone else that ever sang about The Devil...but this might be The Greatest Satanic Epic In All Of Music. At the very least, The Prince of Darkness himself would probably cite it as his favorite. And that is a very special thing.

File under what Captain Beefheart (RIP) would have called 'music from the other side of the fence.'
