Totally love the synth with which the song starts out... can't help but wonder what it is.

The music, combined with the picture, reminds me of the video game Universe.

heard this in a dream where I was in a plane crash and revived in a weird wasteland with huge sand castles and gross purple goop

This is absolutely stunning!! The lyrics to this are high surrealism if you ask me. Almost a shame that they are so obscured by the effects. Sounds fantastic tho.

are this daniel's own vocals? because if so, then they sound actually pretty good! there's a silent shout-era the knife vibe in this.

Love the artwork. Is it from some anime or something or was this directly related to the album?

KCRW, a college station in Santa Monica, CA, turned me on to this man's (Daniel Lopatin) music one night when they played the track "Zebra." As a fan of what I call electronic new age music, I was hooked immediately. For me, OPN's music is the greatest thing to happen to electronic music since the classic TD lineup of Edgar Froese (RIP, Edgar), Chris Franke, & Peter Baumann. Yes, he's THAT GOOD.
