The lead singer is a friend of mine from recent years. I've been following this band since 2002. Chicago's best kept secret to the metal scene. They were the more literate and darker of the death metal bands out there. I asked Paul to write a short story based on one of the songs from The Knowing via Myspace and he told me it couldn't be done because it was a concept album.
