The lead singer is a friend of mine from recent years. I've been following this band since 2002. Chicago's best kept secret to the metal scene. They were the more literate and darker of the death metal bands out there. I asked Paul to write a short story based on one of the songs from The Knowing via Myspace and he told me it couldn't be done because it was a concept album. The Knowing is the death-doom concept albums that came out originally on a label called Dark Symphonies.

This one is eerie. Novembers Doom always had a very killer way of delivering dark emotions. They always had some Gothic atmospheres to their stuff. I own The Knowing when it came out in 2002. Chicago's best kept secret.

Yeah fuck blastbeats.Slow is mostly heavier and if you play a normal fast drumbeat when the rest of the song is mostly slow or mid paced its much more intense!
