New Order are an English rock group formed in 1980 by Bernard Sumner (vocals, guitars, synthesizers), Peter Hook (bass, backing vocals, electronic drums) and Stephen Morris (drums, synthesizers).

The band was formed in the wake of the demise of their previous band, Joy Division.

This live is the live which appeared on field Festi Val [FINBSRY] of Britain in 2002.

Moreover, it is the enthusiastic live performed in rainy weather.

*In addition, the subtitles of this video become the Japanese version.

not really a stadium/big venue goer, prefer smaller places. But this, well New Order much better live here than in the early 80s when i first saw them. Full of imperfections that make it great. Perfection has no place in great art

I've always liked this band very much on record as well. One of my favorites from the 80's era. Still a favorite. Saw them in Mansfield, MA early 90's. Made us wait forever after the opening gig, like it was the pope arriving, then played 1 hour and screwed. And I bought a t-shirt. Comments.

I saw them at the 3rd Glastonbury festival. They were brilliant there.

Marvellous, beguiling. The whole far exceeding the sum of its parts. Great art. Who cares about the technicalities. Bernard would be the first to admit he is more a lead vocalist than singer. A band who haven't written a great song since the Technique lp, but who have improved live infinitely in comparison to the 80s shows.

This band is great on record, but I've only been disappointed with live versions of their stuff (And Bernard is usually the weak link). In the BBC sessions they did his guitar was out of tune most of the time and he was all off-key. And in this he plays some sloppy melodica and can't stop staring at the teleprompter. Are we seeing a live band or a dude doing karaoke?

Bernard didn't really sing on this one, he talked. But on other tracks by New Order he sings well.

from start to finish keeps looking at the prompter! jesus was he that stoned years ago that he cant remember a single word, very strange, never seen jd/ne live only on tv/internet but the difference in hooky from jd[ back to audience no movement] to new order [ he needed a harness to stop wandering off] is like night and day! seems barney and hooky{ sounds like kiddy,s tv} are even then trying to outdo each other, barneys exagerated pounding on the guitar when hookys bass line is dominant.
