New Order are an English rock group formed in 1980 by Bernard Sumner (vocals, guitars, synthesizers), Peter Hook (bass, backing vocals, electronic drums) and Stephen Morris (drums, synthesizers).
The band was formed in the wake of the demise of their previous band, Joy Division.
This live is the live which appeared on field Festi Val [FINBSRY] of Britain in 2002.

Er der nogen New Order-fans til stede her? Det slog mig tidligere, at der er gået 10 år siden denne skæbnesvangre koncert fandt sted. Jeg har hele koncerten på DVD og det er den, der bliver sat på, når jeg har en kæmpemæssig optur og også når jeg bliver droppet af min kæreste. Jeg har også en tatovering, der kan spores tilbage til New Order/Joy Division/ Factory Records - den musik betyder virkelig meget for mig. New Order udsprang af Joy Division, hvis forsanger Ian Curtis tog sit eget liv i 1980, hvorefter de resterende 3 medlemmer (samt trommeslager Stephen Morris´ kæresten Gillian Gilbert) fortsatte. Joy Division er fortsat et af de mest legendariske bands i verden og nok det band, der definerede post-punk og senere britisk indie rock. 11 years ago
