Read a little bit about this band after I watched the third episode.Apparently Nasty Bits is loosely based on a East Village band called Jack Ruby. They were around during the early to mid 70s and performed in clubs and bars in New York almost exclusively. They never released a album , perhaps because of the extreme noisy barrage of sound they exhibit. However they made some demos that were compiled and released. The recordings are somewhat garbled , but judging from that period of time ,the music is pretty groundbreaking.
