Crüe Fest was a summer 2008 tour by Mötley Crüe, which commenced on July 1, 2008 and concluded on August 31, 2008. It featured Mötley Crüe themselves, Papa Roach, Buckcherry, Trapt, and Sixx:A.M.. During the press conference announcing the tour, Nikki Sixx said that there were currently no definitive plans to tour Europe, however, it is likely that there will be some form of tour at a later date.[1] Crüe Fest is said to be "The Loudest Show on Earth". The tour earned around $40 million and was the most successful and most popular festival of the summer. The tour was first formulated in January 2008 by Nikki Sixx. Shortly afterwards, the idea was established to do a tour with both bands Sixx is currently a member of (Mötley Crüe and Sixx:A.M.). The idea of Crüe Fest was then created, with Mötley Crüe's intention of bringing a new touring festival of 'bands that embody the spirit of rock and roll'[1] in the same vein as Ozzfest. The new official Mötley Crüe website ([1]) had promised a special announcement on April 15, 2008. Mötley Crüe hosted a press conference, where the intentions of the Crüe Fest tour were announced and the band premiered their "Saints of Los Angeles" video, as well as performing "Kickstart My Heart" and "Saints of Los Angeles".

you can say what you want 'bout the CRÜe, but they do sound tight and amazing these days! For example Vince Neil who hits the high notes perfectly! I'm a Sebastian Bach fan, but he can learn (sorry Bach) a fucking lot from Mötley 's live performances!

have you ever considered this? being a singer is an instrument of flesh and it's gonna get some wear and tear to it especially if you're doing it nonstop very day look at carnival of sins he sounded great there but nonstop touring is gonna take a toll on your voice especially in your 50's

Mick has to be one of the most under rated musicians of all time. His live stuff hits all the notes that were laid down in the studio. No flash. Nothing wasted. Just a professional through and through.

which would u rather do listen to tommy lee's rap album or listen to vince sing live for 24 hours
