Crüe Fest was a summer 2008 tour by Mötley Crüe, which commenced on July 1, 2008 and concluded on August 31, 2008. It featured Mötley Crüe themselves, Papa Roach, Buckcherry, Trapt, and Sixx:A.M.. During the press conference announcing the tour, Nikki Sixx said that there were currently no definitive plans to tour Europe, however, it is likely that there will be some form of tour at a later date.[1] Crüe Fest is said to be "The Loudest Show on Earth". The tour earned around $40 million and was the most successful and most popular festival of the summer. The tour was first formulated in January 2008 by Nikki Sixx. Shortly afterwards, the idea was established to do a tour with both bands Sixx is currently a member of (Mötley Crüe and Sixx:A.M.). The idea of Crüe Fest was then created, with Mötley Crüe's intention of bringing a new touring festival of 'bands that embody the spirit of rock and roll'[1] in the same vein as Ozzfest. The new official Mötley Crüe website ([1]) had promised a special announcement on April 15, 2008. Mötley Crüe hosted a press conference, where the intentions of the Crüe Fest tour were announced and the band premiered their "Saints of Los Angeles" video, as well as performing "Kickstart My Heart" and "Saints of Los Angeles".

you guys gotta remember, this is rock N' Roll and singing every note or every word isnt that important, putting on the best show they can with as much energy as possible should the aim of every good Rock band

@DevinsMetalShow Saying Vince Neil sounds better now than ever really isn't saying a lot, because he's NEVER had the greatest voice. Nikki Sixx said that they didn't choose Vince because he was such a good singer, but because he was such a good frontman. Which he is.

It's amazing how the time put everybody back on their place: After almost being forgotten and given up practically for dead between 1998 and 2005, they came back more powerful than ever. Long life to the Crüe!

@WonderLyrics12 he does suck terribly in this video, and he isn't a great singer. look at steven tyler, he is amazingly good, he sounds fantastic, is able to sing ALL the lyrics, and he runs around more dancing than vince does. and steven is older than vince

went to see them on CF1 tour and as you said, band is amazing, but vince's voice is off. I dunno what it is. It's probly just age, but either way i think he should take some vocal lessons. The show was still great tho.

it's such a shame that vince slurrs his words so much- an alot of aggression has faded in his vpoice! Oh well tbh it did sound a lot better when I saw em live at download!
