Wow! As soon as I heard it, I knew it! Bought the album and played it for hours back in '67-'68...drove my old man crazy...Ah to be 16 again in the Summer of Love. ** sigh**

Did the Cars get their idea from this "You're All I've Got Tonight" ... Hear some of the same...

Extraordinary, sometimes hilarious but brilliant stuff from the early days. The Moodies are lucky to have so much surviving footage and this is a gem,.Who cares about the vocal quality - it is raw, passionate and a great reminder of those heady psychedelic days.

At times Justin almost looks bored. I've never seen him play a slim-line Tele before this. John and Graeme look like they're having FUN!

My band did a cover of this back in high school. We played it note for note.. no mellotron though..

I know! I am always amazed how close the audience gets to the band in these early concerts. If I were in that audience, I would have had to pinch Justin or something....he's just too darn cute to resist.

Ive been thinking the same.. that he didnt smile while playing.. I guess he was very deep and serious when playing the music and feeling it! But yes very beautiful :)

@elinorvonzahm Yeah!! It´s soo funny!! the Moodies were more uptempo sounding in Peak Hour than usual, but then comes that really slooow part (twice!!) and the bodies got that cold after the hotter sounds!!!

@spacepatrolman Yeah, the mix is horrible. I'm surprised the drums are mic'd at all. That's why there's so many lip synched clips from the 50's & 60s. It was easier for the sound engineers' sanity.

Graeme is amazing in this! Great clip. Love it when the music changes and the dancers try to adjust to the slower tempo...
