I've been pissed for years about Mike Bloomfield. For one, he left us way too early. Fuck you for that, Michael. Two, nobody in the day recognized or gave him his props for his trailblazing style. Three, there aren't enough live videos of him left around. Fourth, although Electric Flag put out some great stuff, I believe that had Mike stayed with Butterfield, they would have been unbeatable. But I understand. To each, his own.Fifth, Fuck you for dying on us, Mike. You were a true pioneer, and a soul that each of us could look up to. Maybe you'd go another way now, given the choice, but I want to tell you that those of us here on earth miss you tremendously.Hoping you're happy wherever you are, brother. I love you.

Does anybody have a copy of the short story "Copping" Mike Bloomfield told to and wrote by Larry Sloman for High Times Magazine. It was hilarious. Used to have it. like to read it again.

I can not point my finger at the cause, something derives from some where.  I just have a gut feeling that's all.

I think that the South side of Chicago might have something to do with it, I'm not sure.some one was down right mad at Elven Bishop.Sorry, Elven I just wanted to say the truth.

Sadly, something tragic happen to Bishops family, when I heard that,  I was sadden, and pissed at the same time.  Sorry, there are devils in the recording industry. It's a big shame, and sham these scumbags exist.

Bill Graham West Fillmore productions displaced many south side blues musicians, I'm sorry but it's true. Record Industry duped many musician out of money.  Their were some that could not handle fame. Mike Bloomfield was one of them.  Elven Bishop does not care about fame, and I respect him too.

Bill Graham Fillmore production that promoted poor Mike Bloomfield to fame, sadly missed after 1981.  When you grow up struggling it seems to never leave the soul.  If Mike kicked the smack habit he could still teach a thing about guitar blues playing. I saw Elvin Bishop play at the Biscuit Blues club in 2000, San Francisco while in the USN.  Sadly, I can tell you I respect Mike Bloomfield, he needed help for a big time drug addiction.  It could happen to any one.
