Mick Harvey did the English-speaking world a HUGE favour on both of his albums of Serge Gainsbourg songs (translated as closely as possible into English, a supremely difficult undertaking considering Serge's layers of interpretation and French wordplay) "Pink Elephants" and "Intoxicated Man" are *essential* listens to any non French speaking Serge devotee!
