Love this song!  And while I don't really know how he created it, I always thought he used one of those phrase-looping pedals.  You play a phrase, and the pedal will loop it until you tell it to stop.  Better yet, you can loop more phrases on top of the earlier ones, building a complex structure of sound.Of course, it just sounds like one of those things to me, I don't know if that's what he actually did.

a lot of guitarists now can play this, but he remains the poet of this style

I realy find this music a challenge to listen to, it's both beautiful, and don right depressing and heart breaking all at the same time! It takes courage , and sometimes all my energy to listen to aerial boundaries! Maybe one day when iam happier I can listen to it and feel pure joy

his style remind me of this seattle based guitar extraordinaire named Jim Bartz, his style is almost identical.

This is very true. Why were all the best artists taken at 27?Were they chosen by God for a bigger job?

The Only Omipotent God of the highest heaven did. That's Who influenced MIchael. His mind and hands were directly touched by the Lord of Hosts. No doubt. This was his secret before/until he passed. That powerful experience of being touched by Him must have happened before he was born.
