"Faded Love" As I look at the letters that you wrote to me It's you that I am thinking of As I read the lines, that to me were so dear I remember our faded love I miss you, darling, more and more everyday As Heaven would miss the stars above With every heartbeat, I still think of you And remember our faded love As I think of the past and all the pleasures we had As I watched the mating of the dove It was in the spring time that you said goodbye I remember our faded love I miss you, darling, more and more everyday As Heaven would miss the stars above With every heartbeat, I still think of you And remember our faded love And remember our faded love

That is the fiddle that Bob Wills gave to the Hag after they recorded "Tribute to the Best Damn Fiddle Player in the World" back in 1971. Bob also gave one to my Great-uncle Aud Lewing at the Old Time Fiddler's Festival in Crockett, Texas back in 1951 or so. Uncle Aud had one too many and fell off his porch, broke his leg and the fiddle. That was about 1963...and was not the first time Aud had had a drink...or three.

What the hell did this Haggard fellow ever do? What a ridiculous comment. If you can match his achievements in two or three lifetimes get back to us.

@TheReg54 I think this woiuld have to be one of his best tracks. Look at the comment below, you can't please some people. I really don't lknow why he bothers watching it if he is only going to run it down. He can go watch Justin Blubber or whatever his name is. Gary
