how lucky were we, growing up around such significant rock. that didn;'t come out right..........we were spoiled as Canadians growing up in the 70s. Rush, Max Webster, April Wine, Lighthouse, The Guess Who!!!!!, not to mention Steppenwolf, Gordon Lightfoot, and a personal favourite of mine, SAGA!!

Pye DuBois is one talented lyricist. Interesting note: He wrote the lyrics to Max Webster's brother band's most commercially successful song. The song is Tom Sawyer, and the band is Rush....quite the collaboration.

Who ever said Canadians had no fashion sense - lol! Great song, kind of the Canadian B Bop Deluxe meets Y&T if you ask me.

You apparently are meeting the Americans that only watch (and are satisfied with) American Idol and have no desire to look for themselves. Canadians (and most other countries) find my country laughable because of our attitude towards anything different, and I can't really say that I blame them. The arts are a matter of national pride in most countries, but they have deteriorated to an all-time low here, with more emphasis on mediocrity and commercialism.
