On that note.. I know a few people who ran into Kim Mitchell at the "beer store" of all places.. he's not very nice to his fans... they're old is amazing and I'll support it.. but it ends there! He can keep his "patio lanterns"...

Saw them at the Knob Hill Tavern in Scarberia in 73. I talked to a roadie of theirs at the Gas Works a while later and he said that was their first gig. Did an amazing Who medley.Still doing covers at that point. Talk about paying your dues and going nowhere. Rush couldn't break them into the States.

Although Kim's work with the Max Machine is of course the highlight he did have some merit as a solo artist. I saw him live once promoting Rockland and it was extremely tight and entertaining.
