1st - I LOVE this diddy!2nd - It's amazing how much production values have improved in 25 years. If you look at 1964 vs. 1988, there was a decent jump in quality.But 1988 to 2014 … WOW!!I wonder what TV will look like in 2039.

A brilliant piece of commercial film or TV music. Perfect for a 'Western' or something like that. It's upbeat and uplifting. Maybe the bad guys have all been shot (in true American style) and the good guys are riding home to their gals back at the ranch?

Minor point: It wasn't a reunion special. They tried to make a series out of it, but it never quite found it's audience, despite the fact that it was popular enough to start a yo-yo craze when I was going school. It's too bad, too, because it was great and not just because of this performance.

I absolutely LOVE Classical music. And I adore pop music as well. But I just don't get what's so good about this song. It's repetitive. The melody and rhythm sound rough and raspy.
