Ya I think the op was def on something! Seems lie an edit my 12 y/o would do. But, it's all about Roy! And I really do think he is the king of the guitar. Sure, I know....but this guy was doing this Shit 40 years ago, man! No puff, just a mad man. All guitarists today must pay homage to Roy Clark!! Damnit!

Roy making his Gibson Byrdland sing away!!! Fantastic guitarist, is an understatement!!! Look at the wear on the neck on the 5th, 6th and 7th fret at the top E and A strings!!! WOW!!! Not as bad as Willie Nelson's "Trigger" though...

Why don't don't any of the guitar greats list Roy Clark as being and influence, or at least an inspiration to their playing? He as an amazing guitar player. Is it an embarrassment to admit it because he was country. I would put him up close the top like Johnny Winters and other fabulous players that just don't get the props they deserve from guys who were 8 years old watching Hee Haw in there pajamas before bedtime on Sunday nights back then. I just don't get it. He had to have a major influence on anyone with aspirations of playing guitar back then and even now. I'm as "rock and roll" as they get, yet still have much respect for guys like him, Chet Atkins, and anyone accessible back then, not because of what they played, but their skill level. I'm interested in comments, from all sides, so hit me back. Thanks

Why do people consider Jimi Hendrix one of the greatest guitarists when he could never play like Roy yet Roy could play any Jimi song. Truth be told Jimi wasn't that great at all.

I have epilepsy and I cannot watch this video which is too bad since I really would like to be able to. Someone had a really screwed up idea of what entertainment is. His art should be the focal point, not crap going on around it.
