Video Slide Show Tribute for MARY TRAVERS. Photos by Bill and Roxanne Mills (taken at a performance at The Orleans Casino & Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada June 10, 2007). Music: "The Unicorn Song" performed by Bill Mills (guitars and vocals), with love for Peter, Paul AND Ms. Mary Travers without whose influence I would be less of a musician... and less of a man! Rest in Peace Dear Lady! Heartfelt thanks for the many many years of pleasure you have given the world, collectively and individulally. The hearts of Mary's many fans surely go out to her husband, family, friends and musical collaborators in sympathy. She lives on in millions of minds, ears and hearts and will for decades to come.

"The answer is STILL peace, justice and equality... and all of us working for these things together!"

I'm a veteran also. Accept the the music for what it was and is today. I didn't see anyone killed because of them. If it bothers so much to bring up veteran because of a song there may be other issues there.

PP&M brought an energy, an importance, a voice to our war protests. I was fortunate enough to meet and share ideas at a college appearance they made in San Diego. Their music, but more so, they made a lasting impression on me, and millions. Mary's beauty is missed. But her voice and song will live forever. RIP

I am a Veteran of the war that PP&M protested and I loved them before, during and after the war! No one hates war more than those who fight wars! As a young man I started memorizing their songs and singing them with my younger brother. I didn't always agree with their message but it didn't stop me from loving them! Now Mary is gone and it seems that, every so slightly, I notice less sunshine and less music! Classic artists were they!!

Thank you for this loving tribute to Mary. Mary here is both beautiful inside as well as outside. The only disgusting thing I know is CANCER!

I never got to see PP&M in concert, though their music was one of the things that kept me sane when I was an intelligence analyst. Coming home from a hard day at the height of the cold war and listening to their music kept me alive to the world. Thanks for this great tribute.

I saw Mary, in a solo concert, at the old Troubadour in West Hollywood, back in the Spring of 1973. A Kentucky girl who always understood the personal sacrifice necessary to sing of issues involving social consciousness and peace ~ and she never hesitated. I suspect that many, like me, considered her their hero. Sadly, there will never be another like Mary ~ I can hope & pray that, in another time & place, I can hear her sing again. :)

Thank you, I grew up with PPM and seeing this reminds me that although the world always has problems, there are those that always see the good in the world we live in.

Oh my, I cried watching this. I grew up so much to their music. I met Mary when I was four years old at the LAX airport with my mom waiting for my dad's plane to land. Lind of a fitting way to meet the lady. She was wonderful.
