One of the all time top ten R&B Rock crossover songs in my opinion.

A very bland version of a song delivered so much better in versions which deliver true power. Really disappointed considering some of McBride's previous tunes and her ability to show strength in songs before.

Before the turn of the Century, this person appeared as "Martina McBride and the Ride," throughout Northern Nevada. As I was living at Lake Tahoe, I could have driven to see her, but it would have been about 120 miles, round-trip. If she would have appeared closer to, or at, Lake Tahoe, I soitenly would have gone to see her. As much as I love Joan Osborne's version, Martina's ain't too shabby. 5 *s

She's a great singer, but on this song, she sounds like she's reading cue cards. She doesn't even come close to the version Joan Osborne did. Of course, no one could. You can't top perfection.

She has a lovely voice but I don't think she connected with the emotion of the song

Great song, Love the original. Martina as usual did a superb job with this cover.
