Be serious as much as love Mark O'Conner he does not compare to Chet. It's just pickin and grinin'. Chet is effortless on the guitar.

OMG! What A beautiful tune. Flatpickin' is so hard and Mark makes it look so Effortless. Never met Chet but Paul Yandell helped me get my Lefty Nashville Classic of which I'm grateful. Beautiful music in Heaven. Thanks for the video.

I once saw Mark O'connor play live, in a small theater, by himself. He rotated between every few songs playing the violin/fiddle (played a broad range of songs), the guitar, and the mandolin. -Speechless-

Mark O'connor won the National Flatpicking and Masters fiddle Championships the same year when he was like 14 or so. A premier artist of incredible talent. I heard he doesn't play guitar much as it causes carpal tunnel problems.

This is the shizzle, Wikipedia please note! Love this to bits, as a scottish kid used to get the bluegrass cd's out the local library (turned onto by my deadhead mates, cumberland blues did something to me!), and found this and am so graetful, have converted all my mates to the 'grass (well they are deadheads anyways!). What I'm trying to say is thank you Mark....Dang you make a difference ; (...i also recommend carl jackson banjo player as the best ever straight banjo album! :)

Wow! When people think of fiddle, they think of Mark O' Connor, but he is also a famous composer for symphonies.
