Chesnut knows what he's talking about, cause this is just what is happening across the country. The funny thing is, I'll bet not one swingin' dick in that audience has ever even BEEN to one of those "cinder-block" shacks. Neither has most of what constitutes moder day "Nashville." Most of those prima donnas only HEARD about the "Honkey Tonks" they sing about. Buck Owens, Porter Wagner, where are you when we need you?

That's right, I definitely like Travis Tritt, Tracy Lawrence & Clint Black, especially his 1st two CD's, they had some good Texas dancehall/Texas swing on them ! But I gotta admit . . . most of the stuff I hear on radio nowadays or on the CMA awards is NOT country music. I luv the old school country from Willie, Waylon, G. Jones, M. Haggard & P. Cline.
