Mario Lanza tenía un buen tono de voz pero nunca pudo cantar una opera completa. Desgraciadamente su corazon, producto de subidas y bajadas de peso, le pasaron la cuenta.

Domingo,and Lanza both great tenors.So was Pavarotti,and Caruso.Not to forget Bjorling.And Jan Peerce.They were all blessed with beautiful tenor voices.Lanza suffered with phlebitis,a blood clot which eventually reached his heart.That is what killed him,a real loss for music lovers everywhere.And a humanitarian.God bless him,and all other tenors.

I like the fact that you hear him at #0:05 you can hear him softly Hum for pitch and he does stay right on the notes as usual. He had a good ear and I never heard him live sing Flat. This is in some ways better then his recording because RCA used so much Echo in the 1950's in some of their recordings.
