I can't understand why Francesco Cilea's music is not performed nowadays as much as other Italian verismo composers. In my opinion his "Arlesiana" and "Adriana Lecouvreur" belong to the top of Italian music. Cilea was a great composer! Pavarotti is ofcource a hero aswell.
