The song is written by Madonna and Stephen Bray and produced by Madonna and Shep Pettibone. Madonna provides backing vocals on it. Nick Scotti may be a hunk but his voice is underwhelming!

@ impressiveinstant86 The reason why it sounds like Keep It Together is probably because both songs were written by Madonna & Stephen Bray, although the Nick Scotti version from the Nothing But Trouble OST was produced by Madonna & Shep Pettibone. It is more than likely that an original demo produced by Madonna & Bray was recorded first, and then Madonna took it to Shep to rework when she was working on The Immaculate Collection. Since she didn't end up using it, she gave the Pettibone-produced version to Scotti to record. With all the demos that leaked a few years ago, it's surprising that none of the Warner-era Bray demos have ever leaked except for Each Time You Break My Heart, which has only surfaced in very low quality.

This song and nick's solo cd is good and underappreciated .plus a collector item.i think. i bought 3 good copies at a used cd store,then bought "Kiss me Guido" the movie and o.o.p. cd soundtrack.tehen,i met nick in person twice in the west village bars. he still looks good. what a spicey meatball he's is! merry xmas.
