Brilliant album. Played it over and over, once I recorded the vinyl to cassette.

I'm so happy devoto ditched the buzzcocks... he had much more to offer than catchy pop songs tbh

*I am a major prophet, I'm heaven and hell bent strong*Since I recently found out that Magazine put out a new studio album after 30 years, I've been revisiting their catalog, as well as that of lead singer Howard Devoto and his other bands. Luxuria's 1988 debut album *Unanswerable Lust* is still an astounding testament to Devoto's talent (and features nice guitar work from Noko, who is also the guitarist in the revamped Magazine lineup, replacing the late, great John McGeoch, R.I.P.). This album is definitely in my top 10 of all time. Here's the video from the lead track "Red neck". Unfortunately, it cuts off before it gets to one of the most interesting parts of the song, and cuts out the second verse completely, but oh well. The original's pretty long.*I simply may be evil...*

Howard Devoto, Magazine........they are truly amazing. I saw them recently in Sheffield and am still on a high from the gig.

This is the reason I am here. On Earth I mean. The music just sucks elsewhere.

@Elektrapunk You may be right but he had a fair point. Your emphasis on "FACT", came across a bit...... well, FACisTic. What was the relevance of you informing him that you have your own company? Also I rather doubt he has any idea who Bella Emberg is. No, I didn't like him either!
