You got to give Lulu credit, she invented the robot dance, and wrote this song, prior to becoming self aware. She then sent the song back in time to Bowie, who claimed copyright, and improved upon it. Then 4 years later, he sent her the lyrics and coached her on it, in order to maintain the temporal time-line balance, and even played the sax!

#Lulu "The Man Who Sold The World"Кавер на песню Дэвида Боуи , спродюсированый им самим . Взгляд на песню под несколько другим углом, чем привычные версии самого Дэвида и Nirvana. Боуи в одном из интервью сказал, что его достали kids that come up afterwards and say, 'It's cool you're doing a Nirvana song, и ему каждый раз хочется ответить: "Fuck you, you little tosser!"

Weird...but what a treat.

I don't like it. It's a bit boring and overly repetitive.

For a 41 year old version of a 45 year old song, it sounds like it could easily fit on the radio today. Granted... Lulu would probably need a celebrity sex tape scandal and the track would have to be autotuned to hell and back for it to TRULY fit in our modern "music" era. Nice sax and backing vocals by Bowie, and Ronson's guitar always brings the awesome. She kinda reminds me of a young Siouxsie with the suit and hat.

I wonder if Bowie's playing the sax as well.
