A real shame this wasn't available in vinyl - absolutely superb record. I love the vocals and, on top of the strings and that thumping back beat, it has, IMO, a really Northern feel to it. This would pack dance floors after a few spins.

Interesting to read who Thea sounds like, to my mind she encompasses all that is good about a great singer/song writer, parts of the song remind me of the whole list already posted, plus so many more, it is this that makes the song so memorable and so haunting... Best of all she is British. I am ashamed to say that I have not seen Thea in concert yet, but it is one thing I cannot wait to put right.
