Other "oh so good songs" from that 1965 album are "Then and Only Then", " I Still Miss Someone", "Two Steps Forward" etc. I believe that early in her career Loretta recorded all her favorites for that album, including "I Won't Forget You", They sure are many of my favorites !!!

It is off of her 1965 "Blue Kentucky Girl" album. I also love her version of "The Race is On", found on that album.

Beautiful,I too have never heard her sing this song.I love Loretta, she's my favorite of all country singers. This lady's singing can get deep into your heart. We will never forget you Loretta. We will love you forever. Sad country music has changed. This is what country music should sound like.God how I miss it...I don't listen to the radio anymore.I have plenty of real country music to last me a life time..Thanks for posting Loretta,

Great Jim Reeves song that Loretta has nailed here!! What a special--once in a lifetime---talent Loretta is. Country Music has been so enriched by her and will be so empty when she leaves us. Wish we could still hear her on the radio. Wish we could still hear real country on the radio!!!!
