actually I was mistaken. Pino Palladino wasn't in the first round of Lonestar. The second round of Lonestar came back to Canada with Dixie the original drummer and Pino and John Sloan

I saw these guys in '77 opening for Boston. I had never heard of them and was very impressed. Southside Johnny was the first opening act and got booed mercilessly! He was pretty unknown at the time, especially to the hard rocker crowd.

too bad no video of the boys.....and Michael and Weasel...I watched them rehearse these songs before the abum came out...They were in Canada at the time and called "IONA"

Imagine what it was like listening to the practices even before the album was released. Band was called Iona then and Pino Palladino was the bassist.

@rawedgeman01 Me too, and the second. Also got two gigs recorded from the radio way back '76 & '77 some of which were released. There was also a third album recorded but not released.
