2 lead guitarists battling for space? This is classic in its head banging.

Lone Star briefly came to the fore as a result of being championed by Alan Freeman on his Saturday Rock Show.

Bought this album when it came out and i saw them as a support act at Hammersmith Odeon, think they were supporting Uriah Heep.I was impressed and that takes some doing.Good band, Fine singer.

Just like an earlier commenter ( Charles Parish ) I was more into punk/new wave in '77' but I sure as hell, like to think I know a good track when I hear one and this is one and was a 'guilty' pleasure for me as well.

You are absolutely correct on all counts! When I first heard this it blew me away! Unfortunately, lack of proper marketing and promotion by the industry and little airplay prevented commercial success. But it still a great track! And yeah, kudos to the drummer!
