Gossert played *a lot* of LR in that 1970-71 period: a lot of Richard stuff on Modern Records and Okeh. He raved over the King of R & R album. I did not. As I say, there are 3-4 gems, that's it! Thanks.

I wouldn't be surprised if I heard it on another station too...WCBS-FM went oldies in 1973 (I remember listening at the exact minute they changed formats)...might well have been on the early playlist (I can't recall listening to Gus on anything but a mono portable radio, but immediately recognized the stereo mix the first time I heard it...did have a stereo by that time, at least)
