Guitar tabs for the live versions of these various songs can be downloaded here: http://www.lplive.net/astat/Guitar_tabs/Live/

And here's part 2 of the live intros/interludes, which was appropriately filmed after a battery change! Still in Db Ab Db Gb Bb Eb tuning for all these, this covers the following:

Figure.09/From the Inside (Projekt Revolution 2004 transition)

Points of Authority (Rock Am Ring/Projekt Revolution 2004 intro)

From the Inside (2003-present intro)

As I say in the video, the very first time I play the POA intro is when I got the harmonic to sound right. And for the feedback From the Inside intro, I failed to mention that Mike/Brad also tend to knock on the body/neck of their guitars during the intro just to coax more feedback out of them.

@papponeify That's not LP. It's a fan-made recreation of a song you hear a short clip of on the Making of Meteora DVD.

@astatslpvids You have to type the code thingy in yourself for it to work. I've been having that problem too, lately.

@papponeify That link doesn't work.

@parth196 I think what makes the meter change so cool is that Figure.09 and From the Inside are at pretty similar tempos, if you count Figure.09 in eighth notes, when the change happens you can keep pretty much the same beat and it doesn't sound off as long as you start thinking in 6 instead of 4 or 8.

@SuperXIL I like the chorus better on the demo, but otherwise I prefer the album version.

Hey Astat, what would you say was musically the best version of Figure.09? The album version or the demo on LPU9?

@twikie258 Getting close to the amp IS how I made the feedback.

It is good but, pity you went close to your amp 'cause we couldn't see how you are making your feedback effect, it was fine about the rest.

No, From the Inside is in 6/8, once it changes, it stays there.

does it transition from 4/4>6/8>4/4 ?

I have no idea, honestly. I wasn't watching for it when I saw them in '04. Brad has to change guitars at some point there, and Mike picks up his guitar for FTI at some point. My best guess is that Brad changes guitars while the long 000 powerchord is ringing out during the change from 4/4 to 6/8, and Mike plays the part after that by himself.

Combination of EQ differences between the studio and live versions, and the studio version also has an octave effect on the tapping part that isn't done live.

It's mixed incredibly low on the studio version, it's all but inaudible a good portion of the time. That clean part is actually doubled by a piano, and the piano is much louder than the guitar on the studio version. It's the other way around on the live version because the piano part is just a pre-recorded sample that Joe plays.

It's a harmonic in the middle of the 3rd fret, a little bit past the fret marker. Not all harmonics occur right over the fret wire, so you'll see some marked like that: 2.3, 2.7, and 9.8.

Yeah, that video is on the LPU4 disc, it kind of bugs me that it fades out when the transition starts. Doesn't really show anything about how it's done, but Brad does have to change guitars in there at some point. I know that Brad can change guitars VERY fast though, he did so in about a second and a half between Nobody's Listening and It's Goin' Down in the Hip-Hop Medley in '04.

There's a couple audio recordings of it though. Chester screams "Pain, anger, suffering, love, hate, fear" over the transition.
