Just listened to the Hendrix version and something else that occurs to me is this version has a very unmemorable arrangement. Like, I'm sure whatever song follows this one in their set will sound pretty much the same. It's just kind of lacking in character. I mean, I know these guys can't be Jimi Hendrix but just listen to Jimi's accents, his use of counterpoint. He's so naturally musical. These guys are fine, really, I'm not trying to bash, just...they're just kind of straight up when it comes down to it. They play the notes.

I mean, it's listenable, but it's too glossy, not enough character. It's perfectly fine, a passionate rendition, even, but something's missing. There's just something generic about it.

it's a nice cover, i like it, but this is simply mainstream rock. The original Dylan have multiple shapes, deepest feeling, a very different behavior. It's incomparable, also because it's a poet who paint, with his words, his own world. Anyway, nice cover band......

Lol people harping on about how this is better than dylans , the voice in this is just the blandest common male voice which 90% of the time every teenage guy with a guitar sounds like , just when you get shitloads of girl singers that all try and do the exact same voice ffs, also most of the great lead guitar work is fazed out by the loud rhythm , theres clearly no way this is "Better"

Honestly, Green Day is my favorite band of all time, and they covered this song wonderfully, but I don't care how well you cover it, 99.999% of the time, the original is better.
