Green Day - The Kids Are AlrighT video free download
"The Kids Are Alright" is a song written by Pete Townshend of The Who. The song has been covered by bands such as The Queers, Goldfinger, Eddie and the Hot Rods, Dropkick Murphys, Hi-Standard, Green Day, Pearl Jam and Belle & Sebastian who closed their set with it at the Bowlie Weekender in 1999. In 2008 Billy Bob Thorntons band The Boxmasters recorded a version of the song as the closing number on the second disc of their album The Boxmasters. The song was also recorded for a covers album by Matthew Sweet and Bangles' vocalist Susanna Hoffs. Keith Moon also did a cover of this song for his solo album, Two Sides of the Moon.

Shawn Kelly: Why is it that really bad musicians like yourself always put other musicians down. Your cover of Green Day's Basket Case is appalling, you have mo sense of timing, your rhythm speeds up and slows down all over the place (anyone who wants a good laugh, should watch it!), you can't even get the most basic elements of guitar playing right, yet you put down musicians that you will never be as good as, you are no guitar player...........10 years ago
