Sooo when I hear this song, I think of Mary Winchester. I think of her putting Dean back into the crib for the 3rd time that night, John dead asleep in the next room. She's exausted and would give anything for just a little break, but still she smiles down at her son, brushes the hair from his eyes. She thinks about the secrets she's keeping from John, about her past and her family and everything evil beyond the locked doors of her quite little home. And yet, she still smiles. Because she knows she will do everything in her power to keep her son safe. She has these same thoughts when Sam is born, standing over his crib late at night, just before the fire starts.Sorry not sorry.I also think that if Mary would have lived, she would have secretly taught the boys how to shoot guns when John was off at work. She would teach them little things, like "always keep salt in the kitchen" and they would just brush it off as some weird motherly thing.

Oh my gosh I am going to cry this is so beautiful! It touches my heart and I JUST.... JUST... JUST.... I love it so much! I think about my dogs when I hear this song because I didn't think that I treated my dogs the way that I wanted to now, I mean I was young when I my parents got my dogs and I didn't treat them right sometimes, they died a couple years ago.... I never got to see them again.... to hear their bark... to pet their soft fur.... to hold them when I am sad.... I promise... next time if I ever saw them again.... I'd do better.
