Not to rip on the late great Lemmy (i recently took part in a tribute act) but its quite obvious to me that Lemmy is not playing the bum bum bum bum bass line of this song...he is playing ...but he is simply strumming along in his signature chord style (lemmy played chords on the bass) this may be due to the fact that (and this is fact) Paul dickface Schaefer required all bands who played on that show to let at least him perform with them (if not his whole band)...it was a stipulation...so here you have one instance where Lemmy is committing at least what you might call a bit of subterfuge

LOL! Poor Paul...you can see him cover his ears when Lemmy starts playing. He got a shock. For the record...this is ONLY half of Motorhead: Lemmy and Phil Campbell playing along with Paul Shaffer's Late Show band. Wurzel (the 2nd guitarist) and Philthy Taylor (drummer) had some visa issues getting into America as I remember, so just Lemmy and Phil Campbell made it to the gig.
