Had this song on a tape years ago, and really liked it---knew it was a Leonard Cohen song, but I couldn't remember the name of it. I always liked songs that tell stories (which is what they do anyway) plus I liked the melancholy undertone of the melody, which is why the song caught my ear in the first place. It's probably the only one of Cohen's old songs that he's actually sung that I like. Plus,it's pretty,too.
