Early, pre-Spector version of Don't Go Home With..., slower and with a lilting rhythm. Live from Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania 1975.

This is Cohen's "Schoolboy Blues" and it's indicative of his humanness while he purports to be holier than thou. Less rocking than the studio version, but still approximately the same stupid song. Sorry, Lenny, I'm not impressed.

this is much better. the wit comes through, whereas the album version does its best to obliterate it.

i think it's one of the most fascinating leonard cohen songs - bizarre, but fascinating

stick with the rompin studio version...probally what the song would of sounded like without Phil Spector producing.

A different more lilting alternative to the driving, forced, celebratory album version! This one ALMOST makes you think--okay, not quite. Thanks.

Yes! I tried for so long to upload this myself but somehow couldn't convert it to the correct format. It only drove me insane. I couldn't shake it off with my Motown or melt it down in the rain.
