Okay.......here's the deal.....Leon Bridges can cover Sam Cooke material and make us feel good about hearing soul in 2016. But Leon Bridges writes incredible music of his own......so please don't spend time pining for a perfect remake of the best soul artist of all time but instead welcome this amazing talent into this time. I have seen Leon Bridges live and will see him again in a few months. He's so very talented , yes, he's no Sam Cooke, that makes me happy.....he's who he is, and he's really really good.

Sam Cooke's music is all soooo good. Listening to this young man cover it was really cool. He does a good job with Sam's material. Sam is a legend that can never be reproduced, but this man is talented. I like his stuff.
