I do love this song; he's got a great, slow, soulful voice that shows an appreciation for that good old-fashioned music. I think that it's something which is needed in this pop-centric music industry. However, I'm not gonna lie, I was more than a little disappointed when I saw the actual video. It's not about jealousy, it's not about intimidation, it's not about trying to stop people from living their lives. It's about representation, and speaking out when we notice a certain trend as to who is exalted and who is constantly left out. And it's telling to see the negative reaction that others are getting when they express similar discontent.8 years ago
