Anyone who says knebworth is led Zeppelin's lowest point in their career needs to hear more zeppelin live bootlegs.

Page using a Strat is like Brian May using a Telecaster. =0) Very Rare indeed =)

Think Def Leppard Rock of Ages borrowed a riff from this one?

By 1979...Page was heavy into Heroin and it clearly shows here.Profuse sweating is part of the symptoms,...he is thin as a rail and not eating properly.Look at him playing "Stairway " in 73 for a valid comparison.I am really glad he kicked the habit or we could easily have lost him.

There will NEVER be a ROCK band as perfect as this. WITHOUT LED ZEPPELIN there would be no rock as we know it.

Me and my friends were all psyched up back in late '79-early'80 about finally seeing Led Zeppelin in concert for the first time when that dream crashed in September 1980 with the death of John Bonham. I think they should've reunited using Jason Bonham in later years to do a "farewell tour" in the 90's or early 00's, at the very least, for the legions of fans that were left hanging 33 years ago.

I saw Plant & Page on TV recently. Hard to believe Page didn't go tits up yrs ago- Satan has been good to him ;>). Plant was nice and said some members weren't up to a reunion concert instead of saying "Look at this dishrag. Do you think he can do a concert?" Such a talent just pissed away. STILL, undoubtedly the BEST BAND of ALL TIME. I wish Plant & Janis Joplin had done something together. It would've been an aural orgasm for rock n roll history. Ah well...ah well...

I think the 2nd gig was not too good according to reports...it rained which did not help. Could be wrong though if anyone else has any views on that 2nd gig?

Did I hear somebody calling Knebworth Zeppelin's lowest point?

I mean, are u kidding me? Robert's voice is almost the best and richest it's ever been at this show. And Jimmy shredding arena-rock style. Bozo pounding out the fattest beats around. And John P. J. holding it all together with the mystery/texture/ and groove. Led Zep weren't as heavy in their later years, but their songs grew a lot on "In Thru The Out Door", "Physical Graffiti", and even "Presence" had a few great moments.
